Bob Cozza arranged for a Alfa Romeo sponsorship for a racing Montreal to be built by Autodelta. John teamed up with Bert Everett for this race, but the engine failed after 6 laps.

The Brad Frisselle Transcendental Racing Datsun 260Z.
Brad Frisselle formed Transcendental Racing, and would construct, design and run a Datsun 260Z. The car was built by Yoshi Suzuka and MacTilton in El Segundo, California during the 1973-1974 period. The engine was built by John Knepp, who ran Electramotive together with Don Devendorf. Electramotive supplied the engines and drivetrains. The metal shaping and paint for Brad Frisselle’s Camel GT Z prototype was done by Dave Kent of Creative Car Craft in Hawthorne, California. The fiberglass fenders were made by Wayne Hartman of Hartman Enterprises in Costa Mesa, California.
